The work
What you'll do on this crew
- Weld pipe to ABS, AWS, and ASME code in all positions, including 6G
- Run TIG root and stick fill on carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, and copper-nickel
- Fit spools from isometric drawings and take joints through hydro and X-ray
- Support ship-repair projects across the Jacksonville and Mayport market

- 6G carbon-steel TIG-root weld test with flux-core cap/fill
- Prefer 5+ years of shipyard or marine pipe-welding experience
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status
- TWIC card, or the ability to obtain one for base and yard access
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and respirator fit test
