Text message program

Program name: Alliance Mechanical Solutions Job Alerts. Messages are sent by Alliance Mechanical Solutions, LLC, a maritime pipe and structural fabrication and contract labor company based in Loxley, AL.

What we send: text messages about open craft positions and job openings, interview and start-date scheduling, shift and reporting details, and updates on an application you have submitted to us. We do not sell anything by text and we do not send third-party advertising.

How you join: by checking the text-message box on our employment application and submitting the form, or by texting the keyword JOBS to our program number. Joining is entirely voluntary. Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of applying for a job with us, of being considered, or of being hired, and declining has no effect on your application.

How often: Message frequency varies. We text when we have an opening or when we need to reach you about your application, not on a schedule.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages themselves; your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them under your plan.

How to stop: reply STOP to any message from us. We also honor STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and we honor a plain-language request to stop — you do not have to use a particular word. We will stop within a reasonable time and in no event more than ten business days. You may also call or email us using the details below and ask to be removed.

Delivery: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. The program is supported on most major U.S. mobile carriers, and carrier support may change without notice.

Eligibility: you must be at least 18 years old and the authorized user or account holder of the mobile number you give us. If you change or give up that number, please tell us so we do not text someone else.

Please give accurate information on your application. Work assignments, and continued employment, depend on the requirements of the project and the customer facility, including any background, drug-screen, safety, credential, or site-access requirements that apply.

We work to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or omissions, or that it will be available without interruption. Service descriptions, certifications, affiliations, and openings may change.

This site and our text message program are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or the text message program.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes to the text message program will be communicated to program participants. Your continued use of the site, or of the text message program, after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection or telecommunications law.
